Mick Nicholls kept his game together throughout the entire 18 holes to score his maiden victory at Cobtree Manor with 39 points.
Having put himself into position many time before and filed to land the spoils, Mick made no mistake and romped home by 4 points from Stuart Skinner and Peter Haynes in 2nd and 3rd. Stuart is now rather hilariously down to 12!!!
Hard ground and receptive greens at Cobtree led to fierce competition for the Longest Drive and Nearest The Pin competitions, whcih were won by Billy Bee and Ginio respectively.
Ginio doubled up on the prizes by also winning the Most Golf Played trophy with a paltry 18 points. What has happened to the magnificent Tenerifian...?
Ian Lodge doubled up in the 2s sweep with 2s at both the 12th and 15th, but the committee failed to double up the prize, holding out even against the offer of another round of drinks.
Next up is the wonderful Faversham course on July 2nd, 7.45am meet for a 9am tee-off.
