Ian Lodge made it 2 wins out of his last three events with a less than impressive win in a low scoring event at Boughton GC, his 33 beating Don Smith into 2nd place on countback.
A 3-way tussle for 3rd place was won on countback by Tim Abbott over Ken Holmes and Geoff Richman.
Geoff's consolation was a victory in the Nearest The Pin competition and consequently a share in the twos sweep. Ginio B-G and Tim Godden also recorded Twos, the latter holing a superb buried bunker shot from the back of the green.
Tim Godden also took the Longest Drive competition when he 'nutted' one up the 18th.
Joe McCarthy took last place with 20 points and gets a shot back for the next event at Princes GC on Wednesday 18th February 2009, which is being played over 18 or 27 holes.
