Another handicap scandal saw Brian Carter take the spoils at the testing Sittingbourne and Milton Regis Golf Club on 20th November 2008.
Brian won the event with an impressive 38 points playing off of 12, which due to an administrative error was 3 shots sbove his proper handicap of 9.
Stuart Skinner came one shot back on 37 off a handicap of 18. Controversial, but the results stands and shots will be deducted in the normal manner.
Stuart Skinner also took the Nearest The Pin prize with an accurate shot whilst Simon Cooper came third on countback with 30 points.
Simon also took the longest drive prize with a quite enormous effort. It was as long as his drive off the first tee, although this one actually managed to stay on the golf course as oppose to go across three fairways and onto the A249!
Elma won the Twos Sweep with a magnificant 5-wood into 12 inches and Nathen Bradley brought up the rear with an effort of 19.
The next event is at Westgate and Birchington Golf Club on Wednesday 17th December 2008 which has been designated as the annual 5-club challenge.
