The Faversham event as ever brought the best out of a ragtag bunch and scoring was high on what is always a beautiful course.
With three-quarters of the field, some 18th players finishing within 9 shots of the winner Paul Devonrow (37), it was a close run thing throughout.
Paul was closely followed in by Tim Godden on 35 who will have the dubious honour of playing off 3 at Littlestone on June 25th.
Third was the evergreen Jack Bray on countback from Ian Lodge and Don Smith with totals of 33.
Billy Bee, the big strong boy won the Longest Drive surprisingly for the first time since August 2007, whilst Mick Nichols picked up Nearest The Pin and the Twos Sweep.
Most golf played was a tight run thing with Nathen Bradlet pinching it from Ginio B-G and the equally appaling Tim Abbott.
Next up is Littlestone and players are asked to confirm their attendace to Steve Taylor as soon as possible. There are a limited number of places available for this Open qualifying course and once you have confirmed, you will be liable for the entire entry fee should you not show up.
