Rex stormed to victory at Chestfield in windy conditions playing (allegedly) off a handicap higher than his North Foreland handicap.
Not for much longer as his one stroke victory earns him a 2 shot cut. Mr Consistent, Tim Godden came second and Brian Carter came in 3rd after a car-park pre-round "bust-up" with winner Rex.
Tim G also hit the longest drive whilst Simon Cooper hit just one good shot all day, which fortunately was at the Nearest The Pin hole.
Stuart Skinner walked a long way and came back with Most Golf Played. He won some Lucozade.
