Mark returned after an absence to claim the spoils at Lydd Golf Club on a gloriously sunny, but ferociously windy day.
With 30 points, he beat Steve Taylor and Billy Bee who both scored 28 points. Steve Taylor won the gloating rights by winning narrowly on countback.
Barry Smith continued the building of his trophy collection with another Most Golf Played victory on 5 points. But the stewards are out on that after his loss of 12 balls won him the "Lost Balls Sweep". A total of 105 balls were lost by the society. Well Done Us!!!
Elma nailed one close to win the Nearest The Pin competition and a fine effort from Tim Abbott won him the Longest Drive competition.
Next up is Cobtree Manor on 25th July.
