In sharp contrast to last month's weather, Lydd had reserved us some fantastic weather and suncream and hats were the order of the day instead of the waterproofs of Etchinghill.
Lydd is a tricky course with lots of blind shots to the unfamiliar golfer, which of course most of us were but once Elma House's consistent golf won the spoils with another impressive tally of 38 points of a handicap of 8.
Tim beat Simon C and Derek W into 3rd and 4th respectively on countback after they all amassed 32 points.
John B got the Nearest The Pin with an accurate tee shot whilst Bill C saved his one good shot of the day ("his words not mine") for the Longest Drive.
Baz won the Most Golf Played with 14 points but Zack would want me to mention that Baz only won that one on countback. In the process Baz lost an impressive and expensive 15 balls which contributed to the tally of 116 lost by all 20 players in total.
